All plants regulate their growth, development, and behavior by Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) Hormones, which in most cases move through the plant from one part to another. Fertilizer provides fuel for plants to grow, but doesn't force them to do so. Hormonal signaling dictates the the plant to do so, and the fertilizer is like the 'gasoline' fuel (energy) to carry out such signaling.Think of it as fertilizer is the fuel, where hormones are the gas pedal (or brake pedal) of various plant growth characteristics.
By treating plants with PGR's you can not only alter the ways they grow, you can boost their growth at the same time. The reason is because it requires plant energy to synthecize these signaling phytohormone chemicals. >Signals Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR): When a pathogen attacks one part of the plant SA induces resistance in other parts.
>Signals nearby plants into defense by converting salicylic acid into methyl salicylate, its.volatile ester gas form,
>Inhibits auxin/IAA signaling (part of the SA-mediated disease-resistance mechanism).

Dietary Sources of Salicylic Acid:
Unripe fruits and vegetables are natural sources of salicylic acid, particularly blackberries, blueberries, cantaloupes, dates, raisins, kiwi fruits, guavas, apricots, green pepper, olives, tomatoes, radish and chicory; also mushrooms. Some herbs and spices contain quite high amounts, although meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products all have little to no salicylates. Of the legumes, seeds, nuts, and cereals, only almonds, water chestnuts and peanuts have significant amounts.

Another Mass Spectrum exclusive. In this initial release, basic solubility was the main objective. Full solution boils (i.e. 'Microwave Boil Trick'), or overnight soaks weren't generally attempted. Partial dissolve results data was included as more rigorous pursuits may yield you results. "Melt" results were exclusive to Triacontanol. In each case the melted substance reverted to solid form upon cooling, but its seems possible that applying a secondary solvent to the solution in its hot melted state may enable post-cool suspension in the solution thereby enabling plant bioavailability. "Reaction" means the substance bubbled inside the solvent or similar results (molecular breakdown). This was most common with VOC solvents with heat applied. When heating substances keep an eye for reactions in case we didn't notice them. Beyond all that, results may vary depending on substance batch or other variables. How To Use Salicylic Acid (SA) To Enhance Seed Germination :
Notice: SA can be used to enhance the germination of certain seed types, but shouldn’t be assumed to be a general purpose seed enhancer (such as is Gibberellic Acid, Potassium Nitrate & Thiourea). This substance has proven to actually hinder the germination of certain species at certain concentrations. However, it’s well documented to help many emerging seedlings to be more vigorous in the face of stressors, both biotic (pathogens, insects) & abiotic (salt, UV, metal toxicity, cold). While it may enhance germination, it’s better to think of it as an emerging-seedling invigorator than a seed germination-enhancer.
How To Use Salicylic Acid (SA) For Common Skin Care:
Salicylic Acid (0.3-6%) is used topically (in the forms of Liquid, Foam, Soap, Gel, Cream, Lotion, Shampoo, Ointment & Cloth Pad) in general skin care as an astringent / antiseptic treatment for the removal of Acne, Blemishes, Dandruff, Psoriasis, Seborrheic Dermatitis or other excessive keratin / hyperkeratotic skin disorders.
Salicylic Acid (17-40%) is used topically (in the forms of Liquids, Ointments & Plasters) in advanced skin care for the removal of corns, calluses and warts.
